The Pursuit of Wisdom Brings Security | ||

| 2 So that you make your ear attend unto wisdom, and your heart incline to discernment; | B LAQShIB LChKMA EZNK ThTA LBK LThBUNA | ב להקשיב לחכמה אזנך תטה לבך לתבונה |
| 3 Yes, if you call for understanding, and lift up your voice for discernment; | G KI EM LBINA ThQRE LThBUNA ThThN QULK | ג כי אם לבינה תקרא לתבונה תתן קולך |
| 4 If you seek her as silver, and search for her as for hid treasures; | D EM ThBQShNA KKSF UKMTMUNIM ThChFShNA | ד אם תבקשנה ככסף וכמטמונים תחפשנה |
| 5 Then shall you understand the fear of IAUA, and find the knowledge of God. | A EZ ThBIN IRETh IAUA UDOTh ELAIM ThMTsE | ה אז תבין יראת יהוה ודעת אלהים תמצא |
| 6 For IAUA gives wisdom, out of His mouth comes knowledge and discernment; | U KI IAUA IThN ChKMA MFIU DOTh UThBUNA | ו כי יהוה יתן חכמה מפיו דעת ותבונה |
| 7 He lays up sound wisdom for the upright, He is a shield to them that walk in integrity; | Z UTsFN (ITsFN) LIShRIM ThUShIA MGN LALKI ThM | ז וצפן (יצפן) לישרים תושיה מגן להלכי תם |
| 8 That He may guard the paths of justice, and preserve the way of His godly ones. | Ch LNTsR ERChUTh MShFT UDRK ChSIDU IShMR | ח לנצר ארחות משפט ודרך חסידו ישמר |
| 9 Then shall you understand righteousness and justice, and equity, yes, every good path. | T EZ ThBIN TsDQ UMShFT UMIShRIM KL MOGL TUB | ט אז תבין צדק ומשפט ומישרים כל מעגל טוב |
| 10 For wisdom shall enter into your heart, and knowledge shall be pleasant unto your soul; | I KI ThBUE ChKMA BLBK UDOTh LNFShK INOM | י כי תבוא חכמה בלבך ודעת לנפשך ינעם |
| 11 Discretion shall watch over you, discernment shall guard you; | IE MZMA ThShMR OLIK ThBUNA ThNTsRKA | יא מזמה תשמר עליך תבונה תנצרכה |
| 12 To deliver you from the way of evil, from the men that speak froward things; | IB LATsILK MDRK RO MEISh MDBR ThAFKUTh | יב להצילך מדרך רע מאיש מדבר תהפכות |
| 13 Who leave the paths of uprightness, to walk in the ways of darkness; | IG AOZBIM ERChUTh IShR LLKTh BDRKI ChShK | יג העזבים ארחות ישר ללכת בדרכי חשך |
| 14 Who rejoice to do evil, and delight in the frowardness of evil; | ID AShMChIM LOShUTh RO IGILU BThAFKUTh RO | יד השמחים לעשות רע יגילו בתהפכות רע |
| 15 Who are crooked in their ways, and perverse in their paths; | TU EShR ERChThIAM OQShIM UNLUZIM BMOGLUThM | טו אשר ארחתיהם עקשים ונלוזים במעגלותם |
| 16 To deliver you from the strange woman, even from the alien woman that makes smooth her words; | TZ LATsILK MEShA ZRA MNKRIA EMRIA AChLIQA | טז להצילך מאשה זרה מנכריה אמריה החליקה |
| 17 That forsakes the lord of her youth, and forgets the covenant of her God. | IZ AOZBTh ELUF NOURIA UETh BRITh ELAIA ShKChA | יז העזבת אלוף נעוריה ואת ברית אלהיה שכחה |
| 18 For her house sinks down unto death, and her paths unto the shades; | ICh KI ShChA EL MUTh BIThA UEL RFEIM MOGLThIA | יח כי שחה אל מות ביתה ואל רפאים מעגלתיה |
| 19 None that go unto her return, neither do they attain unto the paths of life; | IT KL BEIA LE IShUBUN ULE IShIGU ERChUTh ChIIM | יט כל באיה לא ישובון ולא ישיגו ארחות חיים |
| 20 That you may walk in the way of good men, and keep the paths of the righteous. | K LMON ThLK BDRK TUBIM UERChUTh TsDIQIM ThShMR | כ למען תלך בדרך טובים וארחות צדיקים תשמר |
| 21 For the upright shall dwell in the land, and the whole-hearted shall remain in it. | KE KI IShRIM IShKNU ERTs UThMIMIM IUThRU BA | כא כי ישרים ישכנו ארץ ותמימים יותרו בה |
| 22 But the wicked shall be cut off from the land, and the faithless shall be plucked up out of it. {P} | KB URShOIM MERTs IKRThU UBUGDIM ISChU MMNA | כב ורשעים מארץ יכרתו ובוגדים יסחו ממנה |
