| 23 They told the king, saying: 'Behold Nathan the prophet.' | 24 Nathan said: 'My lord, O king, have you said: Adonijah shall reign after me, and he shall sit upon my throne? | KD UIEMR NThN EDNI AMLK EThA EMRTh EDNIAU IMLK EChRI UAUE IShB OL KSEI | כד ויאמר נתן אדני המלך אתה אמרת אדניהו ימלך אחרי והוא ישב על כסאי |

| 29 The king swore and said: 'As IAUA lives, who has redeemed my soul out of all adversity, | KT UIShBO AMLK UIEMR ChI IAUA EShR FDA ETh NFShI MKL TsRA | כט וישבע המלך ויאמר חי יהוה אשר פדה את נפשי מכל צרה |

| 32 King David said: 'Call me Zadok the priest, and Nathan the prophet, and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada.' | 38 So Zadok the priest, and Nathan the prophet, and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, and the Cherethites and the Pelethites, went down, and caused Solomon to ride upon king David's mule, and brought him to Gihon. | LCh UIRD TsDUQ AKAN UNThN ANBIE UBNIAU BN IAUIDO UAKRThI UAFLThI UIRKBU ETh ShLMA OL FRDTh AMLK DUD UILKU EThU OL GChUN | לח וירד צדוק הכהן ונתן הנביא ובניהו בן יהוידע והכרתי והפלתי וירכבו את שלמה על פרדת המלך דוד וילכו אתו על גחון |
| 39 Zadok the priest took the horn of oil out of the Tent, and anointed Solomon. | 41 Adonijah and all the guests that were with him heard it as they had made an end of eating. | 45 Zadok the priest and Nathan the prophet have anointed him king in Gihon; and they are come up from thence rejoicing, so that the city is in an uproar.
