1 Then IAUA said unto Moses: 'Go in unto Pharaoh, and tell him: Thus says IAUA, the God of the Hebrews: Let My people go, that they may serve Me. 2 For if you refuse to let them go, and will hold them still, B KI EM MEN EThA LShLCh UOUDK MChZIQ BM ב כי אם מאן אתה לשלח ועודך מחזיק בם
3 behold, the hand of IAUA is upon your cattle which are in the field, upon the horses, upon the asses, upon the camels, upon the herds, and upon the flocks; there shall be a very grievous murrain. 4 IAUA shall make a division between the cattle of Israel and the cattle of Egypt; and there shall nothing die of all that belongs to the children of Israel.' 5 IAUA appointed a set time, saying: 'Tomorrow IAUA shall do this thing in the land.' A UIShM IAUA MUOD LEMR MChR IOShA IAUA ADBR AZA BERTs ה וישם יהוה מועד לאמר מחר יעשה יהוה הדבר הזה בארץ

7 Pharaoh sent, and, behold, there was not so much as one of the cattle of the Israelites dead. 8 IAUA said unto Moses and unto Aaron: 'Take to you handfuls of soot of the furnace, and let Moses throw it heavenward in the sight of Pharaoh. 9 It shall become small dust over all the land of Egypt, and shall be a boil breaking forth with blains upon man and upon beast, throughout all the land of Egypt.' 10 They took soot of the furnace, and stood before Pharaoh; and Moses threw it up heavenward; and it became a boil breaking forth with blains upon man and upon beast. 12 IAUA hardened the heart of Pharaoh, and he hearkened not unto them; as IAUA had spoken unto Moses. {S} IB UIChZQ IAUA ETh LB FROA ULE ShMO ELAM KEShR DBR IAUA EL MShA {S} יב ויחזק יהוה את לב פרעה ולא שמע אלהם כאשר דבר יהוה אל משה {ס}
13 IAUA said unto Moses: 'Rise up early in the morning, and stand before Pharaoh, and say unto him: Thus says IAUA, the God of the Hebrews: Let My people go, that they may serve Me. IG UIEMR IAUA EL MShA AShKM BBQR UAThITsB LFNI FROA UEMRTh ELIU KA EMR IAUA ELAI AOBRIM ShLCh ETh OMI UIOBDNI יג ויאמר יהוה אל משה השכם בבקר והתיצב לפני פרעה ואמרת אליו כה אמר יהוה אלהי העברים שלח את עמי ויעבדני
14 For I will this time send all My plagues upon your person, and upon your servants, and upon your people; that you may know that there is none like Me in all the earth. 15 Surely now I had put forth My hand, and smitten you and your people with pestilence, and you had been cut off from the earth. TU KI OThA ShLChThI ETh IDI UEK EUThK UETh OMK BDBR UThKChD MN AERTs טו כי עתה שלחתי את ידי ואך אותך ואת עמך בדבר ותכחד מן הארץ
16 But in very deed for this cause have I made you to stand, to show you My power, and that My name may be declared throughout all the earth. TZ UEULM BOBUR ZETh AOMDThIK BOBUR AREThK ETh KChI ULMON SFR ShMI BKL AERTs טז ואולם בעבור זאת העמדתיך בעבור הראתך את כחי ולמען ספר שמי בכל הארץ
17 As yet exalt you yourself against My people, that you will not let them go? IZ OUDK MSThULL BOMI LBLThI ShLChM יז עודך מסתולל בעמי לבלתי שלחם
18 Behold, tomorrow about this time I will cause it to rain a very grievous hail, such as has not been in Egypt since the day it was founded even until now. 19 Now therefore send, hasten in your cattle and all that you have in the field; for every man and beast that shall be found in the field, and shall not be brought home, the hail shall come down upon them, and they shall die.' 20 He that feared the word of IAUA among the servants of Pharaoh made his servants and his cattle flee into the houses; K AIRE ETh DBR IAUA MOBDI FROA ANIS ETh OBDIU UETh MQNAU EL ABThIM כ הירא את דבר יהוה מעבדי פרעה הניס את עבדיו ואת מקנהו אל הבתים
21 and he that regarded not the word of IAUA left his servants and his cattle in the field. {P} KE UEShR LE ShM LBU EL DBR IAUA UIOZB ETh OBDIU UETh MQNAU BShDA {F} כא ואשר לא שם לבו אל דבר יהוה ויעזב את עבדיו ואת מקנהו בשדה {פ}
22 IAUA said unto Moses: 'Stretch forth your hand toward heaven, that there may be hail in all the land of Egypt, upon man, and upon beast, and upon every herb of the field, throughout the land of Egypt.' 23 Moses stretched forth his rod toward heaven; and IAUA sent thunder and hail, and fire ran down unto the earth; and IAUA caused to hail upon the land of Egypt. 24 So there was hail, and fire flashing up amidst the hail, very grievous, such as had not been in all the land of Egypt since it became a nation. 25 The hail smote throughout all the land of Egypt all that was in the field, both man and beast; and the hail smote every herb of the field, and broke every tree of the field. 26 Only in the land of Goshen, where the children of Israel were, was there no hail. KU RQ BERTs GShN EShR ShM BNI IShREL LE AIA BRD כו רק בארץ גשן אשר שם בני ישראל לא היה ברד
27 Pharaoh sent, and called for Moses and Aaron, and said unto them: 'I have sinned this time; IAUA is righteous, and I and my people are wicked. KZ UIShLCh FROA UIQRE LMShA ULEARN UIEMR ELAM ChTEThI AFOM IAUA ATsDIQ UENI UOMI ARShOIM כז וישלח פרעה ויקרא למשה ולאהרן ויאמר אלהם חטאתי הפעם יהוה הצדיק ואני ועמי הרשעים
28 Entreat IAUA, and let there be enough of these mighty thundering and hail; and I will let you go, and you shall stay no longer.' KCh AOThIRU EL IAUA URB MAITh QLTh ELAIM UBRD UEShLChA EThKM ULE ThSFUN LOMD כח העתירו אל יהוה ורב מהית קלת אלהים וברד ואשלחה אתכם ולא תספון לעמד
29 Moses said unto him: 'As soon as I am gone out of the city, I will spread forth my hands unto IAUA; the thunders shall cease, neither shall there be any more hail; that you may know that the earth is IAUA'S. KT UIEMR ELIU MShA KTsEThI ETh AOIR EFRSh ETh KFI EL IAUA AQLUTh IChDLUN UABRD LE IAIA OUD LMON ThDO KI LIAUA AERTs כט ויאמר אליו משה כצאתי את העיר אפרש את כפי אל יהוה הקלות יחדלון והברד לא יהיה עוד למען תדע כי ליהוה הארץ
30 But as for you and your servants, I know that you will not yet fear IAUA God.'-- L UEThA UOBDIK IDOThI KI TRM ThIREUN MFNI IAUA ELAIM ל ואתה ועבדיך ידעתי כי טרם תיראון מפני יהוה אלהים
31 The flax and the barley were smitten; for the barley was in the ear, and the flax was in bloom. LE UAFShThA UAShORA NKThA KI AShORA EBIB UAFShThA GBOL לא והפשתה והשערה נכתה כי השערה אביב והפשתה גבעל
32 But the wheat and the spelt were not smitten; for they ripen late.-- LB UAChTA UAKSMTh LE NKU KI EFILTh ANA לב והחטה והכסמת לא נכו כי אפילת הנה
33 Moses went out of the city from Pharaoh, and spread forth his hands unto IAUA; and the thunders and hail ceased, and the rain was not poured upon the earth. 29 Moses said unto him: 'As soon as I am gone out of the city, I will spread forth my hands unto IAUA; the thunders shall cease, neither shall there be any more hail; that you may know that the earth is IAUA'S. 32 But the wheat and the spelt were not smitten; for they ripen late.--	LB UAChTA UAKSMTh LE NKU KI EFILTh ANA	לב והחטה והכסמת לא נכו כי אפילת הנה
33 Moses went out of the city from Pharaoh, and spread forth his hands unto IAUA; and the thunders and hail ceased, and the rain was not poured upon the earth.
