| 8 He went after the man of Israel into the chamber, and thrust both of them through, the man of Israel, and the woman through her belly. | 11 'Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, has turned My wrath away from the children of Israel, in that he was very jealous for My sake among them, so that I consumed not the children of Israel in My jealousy. | IE FINChS BN-ELOZR BN-EARN AKAN AShIB ETh-ChMThI MOL BNI-IShREL BQNEU ETh-QNEThI BThUKM ULE-KLIThI ETh-BNI-IShREL BQNEThI | יא פינחס בן-אלעזר בן-אהרן הכהן השיב את-חמתי מעל בני-ישראל בקנאו את-קנאתי בתוכם ולא-כליתי את-בני-ישראל בקנאתי | ||
| 12 Wherefore say: Behold, I give to him My covenant of peace; | IB LKN EMR ANNI NThN LU ETh-BRIThI ShLUM | יב לכן אמר הנני נתן לו את-בריתי שלום | ||
| 13 and it shall be to him, and to his seed after him, the covenant of an everlasting priesthood; because he was jealous for his God, and made atonement for the children of Israel.' | IG UAIThA LU ULZROU EChRIU BRITh KANTh OULM ThChTh EShR QNE LELAIU UIKFR OL-BNI IShREL | יג והיתה לו ולזרעו אחריו ברית כהנת עולם תחת אשר קנא לאלהיו ויכפר על-בני ישראל | ||

| 17 'Harass the Midianites, and smite them; | IZ TsRUR ETh-AMDINIM UAKIThM EUThM | יז צרור את-המדינים והכיתם אותם | ||
