| 2 If one venture a word unto you, will you be weary? But who can withhold himself from speaking? | B ANSA DBR ELIK ThLEA UOTsR BMLIN MI IUKL | ב הנסה דבר אליך תלאה ועצר במלין מי יוכל |
| 3 Behold, you have instructed many, and you have strengthened the weak hands. | G ANA ISRTh RBIM UIDIM RFUTh ThChZQ | ג הנה יסרת רבים וידים רפות תחזק |
| 4 Your words have upholden him that was falling, and you have strengthened the feeble knees. | D KUShL IQIMUN MLIK UBRKIM KROUTh ThEMTs | ד כושל יקימון מליך וברכים כרעות תאמץ |
| 5 But now it is come upon you, and you are weary; it touches you, and you are affrighted. | A KI OThA ThBUE ELIK UThLE ThGO ODIK UThBAL | ה כי עתה תבוא אליך ותלא תגע עדיך ותבהל |
| 6 Is not your fear of God your confidence, and your hope the integrity of your ways? | U ALE IREThK KSLThK ThQUThK UThM DRKIK | ו הלא יראתך כסלתך תקותך ותם דרכיך |
| 7 Remember, I pray you, who ever perished, being innocent? Or where were the upright cut off? | Z ZKR NE MI AUE NQI EBD UEIFA IShRIM NKChDU | ז זכר נא מי הוא נקי אבד ואיפה ישרים נכחדו |
| 8 According as I have seen, they that plow iniquity, and sow mischief, reap the same. | Ch KEShR REIThI ChRShI EUN UZROI OML IQTsRAU | ח כאשר ראיתי חרשי און וזרעי עמל יקצרהו |
| 9 By the breath of God they perish, and by the blast of His anger are they consumed. | T MNShMTh ELUA IEBDU UMRUCh EFU IKLU | ט מנשמת אלוה יאבדו ומרוח אפו יכלו |
| 10 The lion roars, and the fierce lion howls--yet the teeth of the young lions are broken. | I ShEGTh ERIA UQUL ShChL UShNI KFIRIM NThOU | י שאגת אריה וקול שחל ושני כפירים נתעו |

| 14 Fear came upon me, and trembling, and all my bones were made to shake. | ID FChD QRENI URODA URB OTsMUThI AFChID | יד פחד קראני ורעדה ורב עצמותי הפחיד |

| 18 Behold, He puts no trust in His servants, and His angels He charges with folly; | ICh AN BOBDIU LE IEMIN UBMLEKIU IShIM ThALA | יח הן בעבדיו לא יאמין ובמלאכיו ישים תהלה |
| 19 How much more them that dwell in houses of clay, whose foundation is in the dust, who are crushed before the moth! | IT EF ShKNI BThI ChMR EShR BOFR ISUDM IDKEUM LFNI OSh | יט אף שכני בתי חמר אשר בעפר יסודם ידכאום לפני עש |
| 20 Between morning and evening they are shattered; they perish for ever without any regarding it. | K MBQR LORB IKThU MBLI MShIM LNTsCh IEBDU | כ מבקר לערב יכתו מבלי משים לנצח יאבדו |
| 21 Is not their tent-cord plucked up within them? They die, and that without wisdom.' | KE ALE NSO IThRM BM IMUThU ULE BChKMA | כא הלא נסע יתרם בם ימותו ולא בחכמה |
