Isaiah's Vision

2 Above Him stood the seraphim; each one had six wings: with twain he covered his face and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly. 4 The posts of the door were moved at the voice of them that called, and the house was filled with smoke. D UINOU EMUTh ASFIM MQUL AQURE UABITh IMLE OShN ד וינעו אמות הספים מקול הקורא והבית ימלא עשן
5 Then said I: Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the middle of a people of unclean lips; for mine eyes have seen the King, IAUA of hosts. 6 Then flew unto me one of the seraphim, with a glowing stone in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar; U UIOF ELI EChD MN AShRFIM UBIDU RTsFA BMLQChIM LQCh MOL AMZBCh ו ויעף אלי אחד מן השרפים ובידו רצפה במלקחים לקח מעל המזבח
7 and he touched my mouth with it, and said: Lo, this has touched your lips; and your iniquity is taken away, and your sin expiated. Z UIGO OL FI UIEMR ANA NGO ZA OL ShFThIK USR OUNK UChTEThK ThKFR ז ויגע על פי ויאמר הנה נגע זה על שפתיך וסר עונך וחטאתך תכפר
8 I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then I said: 'Here am I; send me.' Ch UEShMO ETh QUL EDNI EMR ETh MI EShLCh UMI ILK LNU UEMR ANNI ShLChNI ח ואשמע את קול אדני אמר את מי אשלח ומי ילך לנו ואמר הנני שלחני
9 He said: 'Go, and tell this people: hear you indeed, but understand not; and see you indeed, but perceive not. T UIEMR LK UEMRTh LOM AZA ShMOU ShMUO UEL ThBINU UREU REU UEL ThDOU ט ויאמר לך ואמרת לעם הזה שמעו שמוע ואל תבינו וראו ראו ואל תדעו
10 Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; unless they, seeing with their eyes, and hearing with their ears, and understanding with their heart, return, and be healed.' 11 Then said I: 'Lord, how long?' He answered: 'Until cities be waste without inhabitant, and houses without man, and the land become utterly waste, IE UEMR OD MThI EDNI UIEMR OD EShR EM ShEU ORIM MEIN IUShB UBThIM MEIN EDM UAEDMA ThShEA ShMMA יא ואמר עד מתי אדני ויאמר עד אשר אם שאו ערים מאין יושב ובתים מאין אדם והאדמה תשאה שממה
12 IAUA have removed men far away, and the forsaken places be many in the middle of the land. IB URChQ IAUA ETh AEDM URBA AOZUBA BQRB AERTs יב ורחק יהוה את האדם ורבה העזובה בקרב הארץ
13 If there be yet a tenth in it, it shall again be eaten up; as a terebinth, and as an oak, whose stock remains, when they cast their leaves, so the holy seed shall be the stock thereof.' {P} IG UOUD BA OShRIA UShBA UAIThA LBOR KELA UKELUN EShR BShLKTh MTsBTh BM ZRO QDSh MTsBThA {F} יג ועוד בה עשריה ושבה והיתה לבער כאלה וכאלון אשר בשלכת מצבת בם זרע קדש מצבתה {פ}
