Abram and Lot

5 Lot also, who went with Abram, had flocks, and herds, and tents. A UGM-LLUT AALK ETh-EBRM AIA TsEN-UBQR UEALIM ה וגם-ללוט ההלך את-אברם היה צאן-ובקר ואהלים

8 Abram said to Lot: 'Let there be no strife, I pray you, between me and you, and between my herdsmen and your herdsmen; for we are brethren. 9 Is not the whole land before you? separate yourself, I pray you, from me; if you will take the left hand, then I will go to the right; or if you take the right hand, then I will go to the left.' 10 Lot lifted up his eyes, and beheld all the plain of the Jordan, that it was well watered every where, before IAUA destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, like the garden of IAUA, like the land of Egypt, as you go to Zoar. 11 So Lot chose him all the plain of the Jordan; and Lot journeyed east; and they separated themselves the one from the other. IE UIBChR-LU LUT ETh KL-KKR AIRDN UISO LUT MQDM UIFRDU EISh MOL EChIU יא ויבחר-לו לוט את כל-ככר הירדן ויסע לוט מקדם ויפרדו איש מעל אחיו
12 Abram dwelt in the land of Canaan, and Lot dwelt in the cities of the Plain, and moved his tent as far as Sodom. IB EBRM IShB BERTs-KNON ULUT IShB BORI AKKR UIEAL OD-SDM יב אברם ישב בארץ-כנען ולוט ישב בערי הככר ויאהל עד-סדם
13 Now the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners against IAUA exceedingly. IG UENShI SDM ROIM UChTEIM LIAUA MED יג ואנשי סדם רעים וחטאים ליהוה מאד
14 IAUA said to Abram, after that Lot was separated from him: 'Lift up now your eyes, and look from the place where you are, northward and southward and eastward and westward; ID UIAUA EMR EL-EBRM EChRI AFRD-LUT MOMU ShE NE OINIK UREA MN-AMQUM EShR-EThA ShM TsFNA UNGBA UQDMA UIMA יד ויהוה אמר אל-אברם אחרי הפרד-לוט מעמו שא נא עיניך וראה מן-המקום אשר-אתה שם צפנה ונגבה וקדמה וימה
15 for all the land which you see, to you will I give it, and to your seed for ever. TU KI ETh-KL-AERTs EShR-EThA REA LK EThNNA ULZROK OD-OULM טו כי את-כל-הארץ אשר-אתה ראה לך אתננה ולזרעך עד-עולם

18 Abram moved his tent, and came and dwelt by the terebinths of Mamre, which are in Hebron, and built there an altar to IAUA. ICh UIEAL EBRM UIBE UIShB BELNI MMRE EShR BChBRUN UIBN-ShM MZBCh LIAUA יח ויאהל אברם ויבא וישב באלני ממרא אשר בחברון ויבן-שם מזבח ליהוה

Abram and Lot
