| 2 'Son of man, set your face against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and prophesy against him, and against all Egypt; | B BN-EDM ShIM FNIK OL-FROA MLK MTsRIM UANBE OLIU UOL-MTsRIM KLA | ב בן-אדם שים פניך על-פרעה מלך מצרים והנבא עליו ועל-מצרים כלה | ||
| 3 speak, and say: Thus says the Lord IAUA: behold, I am against you, Pharaoh King of Egypt, the great dragon that lays in the middle of his rivers, that has said: My river is mine own, and I have made it for myself. | G DBR UEMRTh KA-EMR EDNI IAUA ANNI OLIK FROA MLK-MTsRIM AThNIM AGDUL ARBTs BThUK IERIU EShR EMR LI IERI UENI OShIThNI | ג דבר ואמרת כה-אמר אדני יהוה הנני עליך פרעה מלך-מצרים התנים הגדול הרבץ בתוך יאריו אשר אמר לי יארי ואני עשיתני | ||

| 5 I will cast you into the wilderness, you and all the fish of your rivers; you shall fall on the open field; you shall not be brought together, nor gathered; to the beasts of the earth and to the flying creatures of the heaven have I given you for food. | A UNTShThIK AMDBRA EUThK UETh KL-DGTh IERIK OL-FNI AShDA ThFUL LE ThESF ULE ThQBTs LChITh AERTs ULOUF AShMIM NThThIK LEKLA | ה ונטשתיך המדברה אותך ואת כל-דגת יאריך על-פני השדה תפול לא תאסף ולא תקבץ לחית הארץ ולעוף השמים נתתיך לאכלה | ||
| 6 All the inhabitants of Egypt shall know that I am IAUA, because they have been a staff of reed to the house of Israel. | U UIDOU KL-IShBI MTsRIM KI ENI IAUA ION AIUThM MShONTh QNA LBITh IShREL | ו וידעו כל-ישבי מצרים כי אני יהוה יען היותם משענת קנה לבית ישראל | ||
| 7 When they take hold of you with the hand, you dost break, and rend all their shoulders; and when they lean on you, you break, and make all their loins to be at a stand. | Z BThFShM BK BKFK (BKF) ThRUTs UBQOTh LAM KL-KThF UBAShONM OLIK ThShBR UAOMDTh LAM KL-MThNIM | ז בתפשם בך בכפך (בכף) תרוץ ובקעת להם כל-כתף ובהשענם עליך תשבר והעמדת להם כל-מתנים | ||
| 8 Therefore thus says the Lord IAUA: Behold, I will bring a sword on you, and will cut off from you man and beast. | Ch LKN KA EMR EDNI IAUA ANNI MBIE OLIK ChRB UAKRThI MMK EDM UBAMA | ח לכן כה אמר אדני יהוה הנני מביא עליך חרב והכרתי ממך אדם ובהמה | ||
| 9 The land of Egypt shall be desolate and waste, and they shall know that I am IAUA; because he has said: The river is mine, and I have made it. | T UAIThA ERTs-MTsRIM LShMMA UChRBA UIDOU KI-ENI IAUA ION EMR IER LI UENI OShIThI | ט והיתה ארץ-מצרים לשממה וחרבה וידעו כי-אני יהוה יען אמר יאר לי ואני עשיתי | ||
| 10 Therefore, behold, I am against you, and against your rivers, and I will make the land of Egypt utterly waste and desolate, from Migdol to Syene even to the border of Ethiopia. | I LKN ANNI ELIK UEL-IERIK UNThThI ETh-ERTs MTsRIM LChRBUTh ChRB ShMMA MMGDL SUNA UOD-GBUL KUSh | י לכן הנני אליך ואל-יאריך ונתתי את-ארץ מצרים לחרבות חרב שממה ממגדל סונה ועד-גבול כוש | ||
| 11 No foot of man shall pass through it, nor foot of beast shall pass through it, neither shall it be inhabited forty years. | IE LE ThOBR-BA RGL EDM URGL BAMA LE ThOBR-BA ULE ThShB ERBOIM ShNA | יא לא תעבר-בה רגל אדם ורגל בהמה לא תעבר-בה ולא תשב ארבעים שנה | ||
| 12 I will make the land of Egypt desolate in the middle of the countries that are desolate, and her cities among the cities that are laid waste shall be desolate forty years; and I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and will disperse them through the countries. | IB UNThThI ETh-ERTs MTsRIM ShMMA BThUK ERTsUTh NShMUTh UORIA BThUK ORIM MChRBUTh ThAIIN ShMMA ERBOIM ShNA UAFTsThI ETh-MTsRIM BGUIM UZRIThIM BERTsUTh | יב ונתתי את-ארץ מצרים שממה בתוך ארצות נשמות ועריה בתוך ערים מחרבות תהיין שממה ארבעים שנה והפצתי את-מצרים בגוים וזריתים בארצות | ||
| 13 For thus says the Lord IAUA: At the end of forty years will I gather the Egyptians from the peoples whither they were scattered; | IG KI KA EMR EDNI IAUA MQTs ERBOIM ShNA EQBTs ETh-MTsRIM MN-AOMIM EShR-NFTsU ShMA | יג כי כה אמר אדני יהוה מקץ ארבעים שנה אקבץ את-מצרים מן-העמים אשר-נפצו שמה | ||
| 14 and I will turn the captivity of Egypt, and will cause them to return into the land of Pathros, into the land of their origin; and they shall be there a lowly kingdom. | ID UShBThI ETh-ShBUTh MTsRIM UAShBThI EThM ERTs FThRUS OL-ERTs MKURThM UAIU ShM MMLKA ShFLA | יד ושבתי את-שבות מצרים והשבתי אתם ארץ פתרוס על-ארץ מכורתם והיו שם ממלכה שפלה | ||
| 15 It shall be the lowliest of the kingdoms, neither shall it any more lift itself up above the nations; and I will diminish them, that they shall no more rule over the nations. | TU MN-AMMLKUTh ThAIA ShFLA ULE-ThThNShE OUD OL-AGUIM UAMOTThIM LBLThI RDUTh BGUIM | טו מן-הממלכות תהיה שפלה ולא-תתנשא עוד על-הגוים והמעטתים לבלתי רדות בגוים | ||
| 16 It shall be no more the confidence of the house of Israel, bringing iniquity to remembrance, when they turn after them; and they shall know that I am the Lord IAUA.' | TZ ULE IAIA-OUD LBITh IShREL LMBTCh MZKIR OUN BFNUThM EChRIAM UIDOU KI ENI EDNI IAUA | טז ולא יהיה-עוד לבית ישראל למבטח מזכיר עון בפנותם אחריהם וידעו כי אני אדני יהוה | ||
| 17 It came to pass in the seven and twentieth year, in the first month, in the first day of the month, the word of IAUA came to me, saying: | IZ UIAI BOShRIM UShBO ShNA BREShUN BEChD LChDSh AIA DBR-IAUA ELI LEMR | יז ויהי בעשרים ושבע שנה בראשון באחד לחדש היה דבר-יהוה אלי לאמר | ||
| 18 'Son of man, Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon caused his army to serve a great service against Tyre; every head was made bald, and every shoulder was peeled; yet had he no wages, nor his army, from Tyre, for the service that he had served against it; | ICh BN-EDM NBUKDRETsR MLK-BBL AOBID ETh-ChILU OBDA GDULA EL-TsR KL-RESh MQRCh UKL-KThF MRUTA UShKR LE-AIA LU ULChILU MTsR OL-AOBDA EShR-OBD OLIA | יח בן-אדם נבוכדראצר מלך-בבל העביד את-חילו עבדה גדולה אל-צר כל-ראש מקרח וכל-כתף מרוטה ושכר לא-היה לו ולחילו מצר על-העבדה אשר-עבד עליה | ||
| 19 therefore thus says the Lord IAUA: Behold, I will give the land of Egypt to Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon; and he shall carry off her abundance, and take her spoil, and take her prey; and it shall be the wages for his army. | IT LKN KA EMR EDNI IAUA ANNI NThN LNBUKDRETsR MLK-BBL ETh-ERTs MTsRIM UNShE AMNA UShLL ShLLA UBZZ BZA UAIThA ShKR LChILU | יט לכן כה אמר אדני יהוה הנני נתן לנבוכדראצר מלך-בבל את-ארץ מצרים ונשא המנה ושלל שללה ובזז בזה והיתה שכר לחילו | ||
| 20 I have given him the land of Egypt as his hire for which he served, because they wrought for Me, says the Lord IAUA. | K FOLThU EShR-OBD BA NThThI LU ETh-ERTs MTsRIM EShR OShU LI NEM EDNI IAUA | כ פעלתו אשר-עבד בה נתתי לו את-ארץ מצרים אשר עשו לי נאם אדני יהוה | ||
| 21 In that day will I cause a horn to shoot up to the house of Israel, and I will give you the opening of the mouth in the middle of them; and they shall know that I am IAUA.' | KE BIUM AAUE ETsMICh QRN LBITh IShREL ULK EThN FThChUN-FA BThUKM UIDOU KI-ENI IAUA | כא ביום ההוא אצמיח קרן לבית ישראל ולך אתן פתחון-פה בתוכם וידעו כי-אני יהוה | ||
