| 10 I have seen the task which God has given to the sons of men to be exercised therewith. | I REIThI ETh-AONIN EShR NThN ELAIM LBNI AEDM LONUTh BU | י ראיתי את-הענין אשר נתן אלהים לבני האדם לענות בו | ||
| 11 He has made every thing beautiful in its time; also He has set the world in their heart, yet so that man cannot find out the work that God has done from the beginning even to the end. | IE ETh-AKL OShA IFA BOThU GM ETh-AOLM NThN BLBM MBLI EShR LE-IMTsE AEDM ETh-AMOShA EShR-OShA AELAIM MRESh UOD-SUF | יא את-הכל עשה יפה בעתו גם את-העלם נתן בלבם מבלי אשר לא-ימצא האדם את-המעשה אשר-עשה האלהים מראש ועד-סוף | ||
| 12 I know that there is nothing better for them, than to rejoice, and to get pleasure so long as they live. | IB IDOThI KI EIN TUB BM KI EM-LShMUCh ULOShUTh TUB BChIIU | יב ידעתי כי אין טוב בם כי אם-לשמוח ולעשות טוב בחייו | ||
| 13 But also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy pleasure for all his labour, is the gift of God. | IG UGM KL-AEDM ShIEKL UShThA UREA TUB BKL-OMLU MThTh ELAIM AIE | יג וגם כל-האדם שיאכל ושתה וראה טוב בכל-עמלו מתת אלהים היא | ||
| 14 I know that, whatsoever God does, it shall be for ever; nothing can be added to it, nor any thing taken from it; and God has so made it, that men should fear before Him. | ID IDOThI KI KL-EShR IOShA AELAIM AUE IAIA LOULM OLIU EIN LAUSIF UMMNU EIN LGRO UAELAIM OShA ShIREU MLFNIU | יד ידעתי כי כל-אשר יעשה האלהים הוא יהיה לעולם עליו אין להוסיף וממנו אין לגרע והאלהים עשה שיראו מלפניו | ||
| 15 That which is has been long ago, and that which is to be has already been; and God seeks that which is pursued. | TU MA-ShAIA KBR AUE UEShR LAIUTh KBR AIA UAELAIM IBQSh ETh-NRDF | טו מה-שהיה כבר הוא ואשר להיות כבר היה והאלהים יבקש את-נרדף | ||
| 16 Moreover I saw under the sun, in the place of justice, that wickedness was there; and in the place of righteousness, that wickedness was there. | TZ UOUD REIThI ThChTh AShMSh MQUM AMShFT ShMA ARShO UMQUM ATsDQ ShMA ARShO | טז ועוד ראיתי תחת השמש מקום המשפט שמה הרשע ומקום הצדק שמה הרשע | ||
| 17 I said in my heart: 'The righteous and the wicked God will judge; for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work.' | IZ EMRThI ENI BLBI ETh-ATsDIQ UETh-ARShO IShFT AELAIM KI-OTh LKL-ChFTs UOL KL-AMOShA ShM | יז אמרתי אני בלבי את-הצדיק ואת-הרשע ישפט האלהים כי-עת לכל-חפץ ועל כל-המעשה שם | ||
| 18 I said in my heart: 'It is because of the sons of men, that God may sift them, and that they may see that they themselves are but as beasts.' | ICh EMRThI ENI BLBI OL-DBRTh BNI AEDM LBRM AELAIM ULREUTh ShAM-BAMA AMA LAM | יח אמרתי אני בלבי על-דברת בני האדם לברם האלהים ולראות שהם-בהמה המה להם | ||

| 21 Who knows the spirit of man whether it goes upward, and the spirit of the beast whether it goes downward to the earth? | KE MI IUDO RUCh BNI AEDM AOLA AIE LMOLA URUCh ABAMA AIRDTh AIE LMTA LERTs | כא מי יודע רוח בני האדם העלה היא למעלה ורוח הבהמה הירדת היא למטה לארץ | ||
