4 One generation passes away, and another generation comes; and the earth abides for ever. D DUR ALK UDUR BE UAERTs LOULM OMDTh ד דור הלך ודור בא והארץ לעולם עמדת
5 The sun also arises, and the sun goes down, and hastes to his place where he arises. A UZRCh AShMSh UBE AShMSh UEL MQUMU ShUEF ZURCh AUE ShM ה וזרח השמש ובא השמש ואל מקומו שואף זורח הוא שם
6 The wind goes toward the south, and turns about unto the north; it turns about continually in its circuit, and the wind returns again to its circuits. U AULK EL DRUM USUBB EL TsFUN SUBB SBB AULK ARUCh UOL SBIBThIU ShB ARUCh ו הולך אל דרום וסובב אל צפון סובב סבב הולך הרוח ועל סביבתיו שב הרוח

13 I applied my heart to seek and to search out by wisdom concerning all things that are done under heaven; it is a sore task that God has given to the sons of men to be exercised therewith. IG UNThThI ETh LBI LDRUSh ULThUR BChKMA OL KL EShR NOShA ThChTh AShMIM AUE ONIN RO NThN ELAIM LBNI AEDM LONUTh BU יג ונתתי את לבי לדרוש ולתור בחכמה על כל אשר נעשה תחת השמים הוא ענין רע נתן אלהים לבני האדם לענות בו
14 I have seen all the works that are done under the sun; and, behold, all is vanity and a striving after wind. ID REIThI ETh KL AMOShIM ShNOShU ThChTh AShMSh UANA AKL ABL UROUTh RUCh יד ראיתי את כל המעשים שנעשו תחת השמש והנה הכל הבל ורעות רוח
15 That which is crooked cannot be made straight; and that which is wanting cannot be numbered. TU MOUTh LE IUKL LThQN UChSRUN LE IUKL LAMNUTh טו מעות לא יוכל לתקן וחסרון לא יוכל להמנות
16 I spoke with my own heart, saying: 'Lo, I have gotten great wisdom, more also than all that were before me over Jerusalem'; yes, my heart has had great experience of wisdom and knowledge. 17 I applied my heart to know wisdom, and to know madness and folly--I perceived that this also was a striving after wind. IZ UEThNA LBI LDOTh ChKMA UDOTh AULLTh UShKLUTh IDOThI ShGM ZA AUE ROIUN RUCh יז ואתנה לבי לדעת חכמה ודעת הוללת ושכלות ידעתי שגם זה הוא רעיון רוח
