2 IAUA said unto me: 'Fear him not; for I have delivered him, and all his people, and his land, into your hand; and you shall do unto him as you didst unto Sihon king of the Amorites, who dwelt at Heshbon.' 3 So IAUA our God delivered into our hand Og also, the king of Bashan, and all his people; and we smote him until none was left to him remaining. 4 We took all his cities at that time; there was not a city which we took not from them; threescore cities, all the region of Argob, the kingdom of Og in Bashan. 8 We took the land at that time out of the hand of the two kings of the Amorites that were beyond the Jordan, from the valley of Arnon unto mount Hermon-- Ch UNQCh BOTh AAUE ETh AERTs MID ShNI MLKI AEMRI EShR BOBR AIRDN MNChL ERNN OD AR ChRMUN ח ונקח בעת ההוא את הארץ מיד שני מלכי האמרי אשר בעבר הירדן מנחל ארנן עד הר חרמון
9 which Hermon the Sidonians call Sirion, and the Amorites call it Senir-- T TsIDNIM IQREU LChRMUN ShRIN UAEMRI IQREU LU ShNIR ט צידנים יקראו לחרמון שרין והאמרי יקראו לו שניר
10 all the cities of the plain, and all Gilead, and all Bashan, unto Salcah and Edrei, cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan.-- I KL ORI AMIShR UKL AGLOD UKL ABShN OD SLKA UEDROI ORI MMLKTh OUG BBShN י כל ערי המישר וכל הגלעד וכל הבשן עד סלכה ואדרעי ערי ממלכת עוג בבשן

12 This land we took in possession at that time; from Aroer, which is by the valley of Arnon, and half the hill-country of Gilead, and the cities thereof, gave I unto the Reubenites and to the Gadites; IB UETh AERTs AZETh IRShNU BOTh AAUE MOROR EShR OL NChL ERNN UChTsI AR AGLOD UORIU NThThI LREUBNI ULGDI יב ואת הארץ הזאת ירשנו בעת ההוא מערער אשר על נחל ארנן וחצי הר הגלעד ועריו נתתי לראובני ולגדי
13 and the rest of Gilead, and all Bashan, the kingdom of Og, gave I unto the half-tribe of Manasseh; all the region of Argob--all that Bashan is called the land of Rephaim. 14 Jair the son of Manasseh took all the region of Argob, unto the border of the Geshurites and the Maacathites, and called them, even Bashan, after his own name, Havvoth-jair, unto this day.-- ID IEIR BN MNShA LQCh ETh KL ChBL ERGB OD GBUL AGShURI UAMOKThI UIQRE EThM OL ShMU ETh ABShN ChUTh IEIR OD AIUM AZA יד יאיר בן מנשה לקח את כל חבל ארגב עד גבול הגשורי והמעכתי ויקרא אתם על שמו את הבשן חות יאיר עד היום הזה
15 I gave Gilead unto Machir. TU ULMKIR NThThI ETh AGLOD טו ולמכיר נתתי את הגלעד
16 Unto the Reubenites and unto the Gadites I gave from Gilead even unto the valley of Arnon, the middle of the valley for a border; even unto the river Jabbok, which is the border of the children of Ammon; TZ ULREUBNI ULGDI NThThI MN AGLOD UOD NChL ERNN ThUK ANChL UGBL UOD IBQ ANChL GBUL BNI OMUN טז ולראובני ולגדי נתתי מן הגלעד ועד נחל ארנן תוך הנחל וגבל ועד יבק הנחל גבול בני עמון
17 the Arabah also, the Jordan being the border thereof, from Chinnereth even unto the sea of the Arabah, the Salt Sea, under the slopes of Pisgah eastward. 18 I commanded you at that time, saying: 'IAUA your God has given you this land to possess it; you shall pass over armed before your brethren the children of Israel, all the men of valour. 19 But your wives, and your little ones, and your cattle--I know that you have much cattle--shall abide in your cities which I have given you; IT RQ NShIKM UTFKM UMQNKM IDOThI KI MQNA RB LKM IShBU BORIKM EShR NThThI LKM יט רק נשיכם וטפכם ומקנכם ידעתי כי מקנה רב לכם ישבו בעריכם אשר נתתי לכם
20 until IAUA give rest unto your brethren, as unto you, and they also possess the land which IAUA your God gives them beyond the Jordan; then shall you return every man unto his possession, which I have given you. 21 I commanded Joshua at that time, saying: 'Your eyes have seen all that IAUA your God has done unto these two kings; so shall IAUA do unto all the kingdoms whither you go over. KE UETh IAUShUO TsUIThI BOTh AAUE LEMR OINIK ARETh ETh KL EShR OShA IAUA ELAIKM LShNI AMLKIM AELA KN IOShA IAUA LKL AMMLKUTh EShR EThA OBR ShMA כא ואת יהושוע צויתי בעת ההוא לאמר עיניך הראת את כל אשר עשה יהוה אלהיכם לשני המלכים האלה כן יעשה יהוה לכל הממלכות אשר אתה עבר שמה
22 You shall not fear them; for IAUA your God, He it is that fights for you.' {S} KB LE ThIREUM KI IAUA ELAIKM AUE ANLChM LKM {S} כב לא תיראום כי יהוה אלהיכם הוא הנלחם לכם {ס}
23 I besought IAUA at that time, saying: KG UEThChNN EL IAUA BOTh AAUE LEMR כג ואתחנן אל יהוה בעת ההוא לאמר
24 'My Lord IAUA, You have begun to show Your servant Your greatness, and Your strong hand; for what god is there in heaven or on earth, that can do according to Your works, and according to Your mighty acts? KD EDNI IAUA EThA AChLUTh LAREUTh ETh OBDK ETh GDLK UETh IDK AChZQA EShR MI EL BShMIM UBERTs EShR IOShA KMOShIK UKGBURThK כד אדני יהוה אתה החלות להראות את עבדך את גדלך ואת ידך החזקה אשר מי אל בשמים ובארץ אשר יעשה כמעשיך וכגבורתך
25 Let me go over, I pray You, and see the good land that is beyond the Jordan, that goodly hill-country, and Lebanon.' KA EOBRA NE UEREA ETh AERTs ATUBA EShR BOBR AIRDN AAR ATUB AZA UALBNN כה אעברה נא ואראה את הארץ הטובה אשר בעבר הירדן ההר הטוב הזה והלבנן
26 But IAUA was wroth with me for your sakes, and hearkened not unto me; and IAUA said unto me: 'Let it suffice you; speak no more unto Me of this matter. KU UIThOBR IAUA BI LMONKM ULE ShMO ELI UIEMR IAUA ELI RB LK EL ThUSF DBR ELI OUD BDBR AZA כו ויתעבר יהוה בי למענכם ולא שמע אלי ויאמר יהוה אלי רב לך אל תוסף דבר אלי עוד בדבר הזה
27 Get you up into the top of Pisgah, and lift up your eyes westward, and northward, and southward, and eastward, and behold with your eyes; for you shall not go over this Jordan. 28 But charge Joshua, and encourage him, and strengthen him; for he shall go over before this people, and he shall cause them to inherit the land which you shall see.'
