Israel's History after the Exodus | ||

| 13 Get you, from each one of your tribes, wise men, and understanding, and full of knowledge, and I will make them heads over you.' | IG ABU LKM ENShIM ChKMIM UNBNIM UIDOIM LShBTIKM UEShIMM BREShIKM | יג הבו לכם אנשים חכמים ונבנים וידעים לשבטיכם ואשימם בראשיכם |

| 23 The thing pleased me well; and I took twelve men of you, one man for every tribe; | KG UIITB BOINI ADBR UEQCh MKM ShNIM OShR ENShIM EISh EChD LShBT | כג וייטב בעיני הדבר ואקח מכם שנים עשר אנשים איש אחד לשבט |
| 24 and they turned and went up into the mountains, and came unto the valley of Eshcol, and spied it out. | KD UIFNU UIOLU AARA UIBEU OD NChL EShKL UIRGLU EThA | כד ויפנו ויעלו ההרה ויבאו עד נחל אשכל וירגלו אתה |
| 25 They took of the fruit of the land in their hands, and brought it down unto us, and brought us back word, and said: 'Good is the land which IAUA our God gives unto us.' | KA UIQChU BIDM MFRI AERTs UIURDU ELINU UIShBU EThNU DBR UIEMRU TUBA AERTs EShR IAUA ELAINU NThN LNU | כה ויקחו בידם מפרי הארץ ויורדו אלינו וישבו אתנו דבר ויאמרו טובה הארץ אשר יהוה אלהינו נתן לנו |
| 26 Yet you would not go up, but rebelled against the commandment of IAUA your God; | KU ULE EBIThM LOLTh UThMRU ETh FI IAUA ELAIKM | כו ולא אביתם לעלת ותמרו את פי יהוה אלהיכם |
| 27 and you murmured in your tents, and said: 'Because IAUA hated us, He has brought us forth out of the land of Egypt, to deliver us into the hand of the Amorites, to destroy us. | KZ UThRGNU BEALIKM UThEMRU BShNETh IAUA EThNU AUTsIENU MERTs MTsRIM LThTh EThNU BID AEMRI LAShMIDNU | כז ותרגנו באהליכם ותאמרו בשנאת יהוה אתנו הוציאנו מארץ מצרים לתת אתנו ביד האמרי להשמידנו |

| 30 IAUA your God who goes before you, He shall fight for you, according to all that He did for you in Egypt before your eyes; | L IAUA ELAIKM AALK LFNIKM AUE ILChM LKM KKL EShR OShA EThKM BMTsRIM LOINIKM | ל יהוה אלהיכם ההלך לפניכם הוא ילחם לכם ככל אשר עשה אתכם במצרים לעיניכם |

| 33 Who went before you in the way, to seek you out a place to pitch your tents in: in fire by night, to show you by what way you should go, and in the cloud by day.' | LG AALK LFNIKM BDRK LThUR LKM MQUM LChNThKM BESh LILA LREThKM BDRK EShR ThLKU BA UBONN IUMM | לג ההלך לפניכם בדרך לתור לכם מקום לחנתכם באש לילה לראתכם בדרך אשר תלכו בה ובענן יומם |

| 41 Then you answered and said unto me: 'We have sinned against IAUA, we will go up and fight, according to all that IAUA our God commanded us.'
