Absalom's Conspiracy | ||||

| 2 Absalom used to rise up early, and stand beside the way of the gate; and it was so, that when any man had a suit which should come to the king for judgment, then Absalom called to him, and said: 'Of what city are you?' | 12 Absalom sent for Ahithophel the Gilonite, David's counsellor, from his city, even from Giloh, while he offered the sacrifices. | 26 but if He say thus: I have no delight in you; behold, here am I, let Him do to me as seems good to Him.' | KU UEM KA IEMR LE ChFTsThI BK ANNI IOShA-LI KEShR TUB BOINIU | כו ואם כה יאמר לא חפצתי בך הנני יעשה-לי כאשר טוב בעיניו | ||

| 31 One told David, saying: 'Ahithophel is among the conspirators with Absalom.'
