Hezekiah Succeeds Ahaz in Judah | ||

| 4 He brought in the priests and the Levites, and gathered them together into the broad place on the east; | D UIBE ETh AKANIM UETh ALUIM UIESFM LRChUB AMZRCh | ד ויבא את הכהנים ואת הלוים ויאספם לרחוב המזרח |

| 10 Now it is in my heart to make a covenant with IAUA, the God of Israel, that His fierce anger may turn away from us. | I OThA OM LBBI LKRUTh BRITh LIAUA ELAI IShREL UIShB MMNU ChRUN EFU | י עתה עם לבבי לכרות ברית ליהוה אלהי ישראל וישב ממנו חרון אפו |

| 16 The priests went in unto the inner part of the house of IAUA, to cleanse it, and brought out all the uncleanness that they found in the temple of IAUA into the court of the house of IAUA. | 18 Then they went in to Hezekiah the king within [the palace], and said: 'We have cleansed all the house of IAUA, even the altar of burnt-offering, with all the vessels thereof, and the table of showbread, with all the vessels thereof. | ICh UIBUEU FNIMA EL ChZQIAU AMLK UIEMRU TARNU ETh KL BITh IAUA ETh MZBCh AOULA UETh KL KLIU UETh ShLChN AMORKTh UETh KL KLIU | יח ויבואו פנימה אל חזקיהו המלך ויאמרו טהרנו את כל בית יהוה את מזבח העולה ואת כל כליו ואת שלחן המערכת ואת כל כליו |
| 19 Moreover all the vessels, which king Ahaz in his reign did cast away when he acted treacherously, have we prepared and sanctified; and, behold, they are before the altar of IAUA.' {S} | IT UETh KL AKLIM EShR AZNICh AMLK EChZ BMLKUThU BMOLU AKNU UAQDShNU UANM LFNI MZBCh IAUA {S} | יט ואת כל הכלים אשר הזניח המלך אחז במלכותו במעלו הכנו והקדשנו והנם לפני מזבח יהוה {ס} |
| 20 Then Hezekiah the king arose early, and gathered the princes of the city, and went up to the house of IAUA. | K UIShKM IChZQIAU AMLK UIESF ETh ShRI AOIR UIOL BITh IAUA | כ וישכם יחזקיהו המלך ויאסף את שרי העיר ויעל בית יהוה |
| 21 They brought seven bullocks, and seven rams, and seven lambs, and seven he-goats, for a sin-offering for the kingdom and for the sanctuary and for Judah. | 27 Hezekiah commanded to offer the burnt-offering upon the altar. | 30 Moreover Hezekiah the king and the princes commanded the Levites to sing praises unto IAUA with the words of David, and of Asaph the seer. | 31 Then Hezekiah answered and said: 'Now you have consecrated yourselves unto IAUA, come near and bring sacrifices and thank-offerings into the house of IAUA.' | 35 Also the burnt-offerings were in abundance, with the fat of the peace-offerings, and the drink-offerings for every burnt-offering.
